The Reiff Family Website

For most of my life my dearest mother, Rena told me stories of her grandparents, the Kaczperowskis from Szczuczyn and the Bejrachowicz family from Bialystok. Fortunately for all these years, she had kept a cherished collection of vintage photographs, capturing their harsh lives in the shtetls of Russia.

Sadly, many of them with their entire families met their fate in the horrific gas chambers. The more fortunate souls managed to escape from Europe and eventually settle mainly in America and Southern Africa. This is where we all come from.

How are the following generations ever going to know their ancestry? How are we going to immortalize their souls and honour the memories of passed loved ones? A family website with global accessibility would preserve this legacy.

This new website, spanning six generations, allows each and every family member access to their own dedicated profile page. Some features include a family member listing, videos and old movies and a vast collection of photos and documents.

Your personal information and photos can only be accessed by other family members and not by public domain.

This project has become a ‘labour of love’ for me; a work in process and my personal legacy to leave behind.
