Welcome to Our Family Website

For most of my life, my beloved mother, Rena, shared with me the stories of her grandparents—the Kaczperowski family from Szczuczyn and the Bejrachowicz family from Bialystok. Fortunately, she preserved a treasured collection of vintage photographs and family documents that offer a rare glimpse into the lives, struggles, and resilience of our ancestors in the Jewish communities of Eastern Europe.

Tragically, many members of our extended family, along with countless others, perished during the Holocaust. Others were fortunate enough to escape Europe and build new lives in countries such as the United States, South Africa, and Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). They are the generations from whom we descend.

As time passes, I often ask myself: How will future generations know where they came from? How can we preserve the stories, honour the memories of those who came before us, and ensure that their lives are never forgotten?

This website is my answer.

Spanning six generations, it has been created to preserve our family’s history and heritage for generations to come. Each family member has a dedicated profile page, allowing us to document our family tree, biographies, photographs, historical documents, home movies, videos, and other treasured memories in one central place.

To protect our family’s privacy, personal information and photographs are accessible only to registered family members and are not available to the general public.

This project has truly become a labour of love—a continuing work in progress and, perhaps, the most meaningful legacy I can leave for future generations. My hope is that this website will not only preserve our family’s history but also strengthen the bonds between relatives, wherever they may be in the world.
